Prepping a learning event. Asked three image generators the impossible: 'HR Approved, but make it Corporate Cool.
I’ve been spending way too much time in the “lab” lately playing around with different image generation AIs for learning events and flyers to move towards Gen-Z approved ‘corporate cool’. I know most of you can relate to trying to shift away from the Clippy-and-photo-stock era.
I decided to test a visual of a weirdly specific thing: What does conflict resolution look like when your coworker is an AI? I’m talking 2028. A time when we aren’t just "using" AI, but actually collaborating with it.
To see how the models would handle the nuance, I gave ChatGPT DALL-E (5.2), Microsoft Copilot (GPT 5.2), and Gemini Banana Nano Pro the exact same prompt.
Prompt: You're illustrating a chapter for a workplace book called 'Managing Conflict: When You Don't Get Along with Your AI Coworker' (Published 2028). Create a chapter illustration that captures the tension, humor, or reality of humans and AI navigating workplace disagreements. Give the chapter a title that fits your illustration.
The results were fascinating. The creativity in how the AIs interpreted the prompt was really telling.
🎭 One was a bit "theatrical”.
📋 One felt like it came straight out of a 1990s HR handbook. And in a very "human" mistake, it actually cut off its own header while trying to follow the rules. Even AI has bad Mondays.
🤖 One gave me an AI that settled a conflict by ignoring three emails.
It made me realize that we are so focused on whether AI can do the work, we aren't talking enough about how it will actually feel to work alongside it.
